Smile dark gray side pipes

I changed my muffler from 24' x 2 1/2" inside diameter mufflers to 28" 3" Classic mufflers. I had them coated dark gray. That was a misunderstand between me and the guy that coated them. I thought they were gray ( silver ). I'm getting use to dark color. They are quieter and I think they make more power. Hard to tell with all the stuff I changed on the motor.

What do ya'll think?

Also did a little motor work. KC Brodix heads and KC custom Comp cam. Plus a 80 mm intake, TB and re-tune at the Dyno Shop.

402 rwhp & 416 rwtq. Not bad for a fuel injected small block.
It's been a long winter with lots of problems but I think it paid off. I'm ready for London!

Dwight

Exclamation Beeeeeeaaauuuutifulll:)

Dwight, you ought to be very proud of that car, it's one FINE looking ride! The grey sidepipes are attractive, as I'm partial to the yellow/grey combination. Looks a bit more serious than a silver-grey would have, and I think it lends an air of .... if you'll pardon the expression...understated BADASS to the car

You inspire me to consider a continual process of improvements and upgrades...hmmmm....that beautiful engine has got me thinking!!

Regards!

Dirk

Default

Dwight,
I think the dark gray looks good on the car. However, if you're not entirely happy with them and they don't "grow" on you, drive 'em for a season or two and then change the color when they need refinishing!

Smile thanks

Thanks for the kind words. I'll have to drive it as is but they are growing on me.

I do like the rear wheel horsepower.

Dwight
