Oil cooler inlet sceen
Not running an oil cooler. That gapping chasm of the missing oil cooler through the view of the front snout looks funny to me, so I'm fabricating an oil cooler hole screen and frame, and a panel to close off the bottom chamber.
Just finished making the screen and frame tonight. I formed a template with some lumber, shaped some aluminum 3/4" x 1/16" strips around the template, and fit some stainless steel wire mesh into it. I then riveted the secondary frame around the first to hold the wire mesh in place.
It looks beach'n! 
From here I need to mount the panel supports and then I can install it.
I'll post pictures as I continue if anyone is interested.
Did I say it looks beach'n?

Sounds interesting, post the photos. Have thought about doing a wire mesh screen to protect the oil cooler and the radiator, never quite jelled as to how to hold to mount it.
A chance to use the pop-riveter, and not have to weld anything sounds like a good idea.
Today, I did make a VERY sophisticated cover to block airflow into the oil cooler.
(hope I don't need that cardboard box for something else later on...  )

For Winter driving I use a piece of .06 thick clear lexan to block it off. Unless you bend down and touch it, you don't even know it's there.

I just finished installing the oil cooler inlet screen and the splitter panel. It looks great. I'll post some pictures tomorrow.
Turned into a bit of a task, getting everything drilled, lined up, and screwed into position. Nevertheless, the end result looks great. No more gapping chasm in the front snout.

Inlet screens
I purchased a sheet of 304ss screen from Pegasus and cut to fit over the radiator and oil cooler opening.
No welding, no riveting, used a couple of sheet metal screws to secure oil screen and fished some ss wire through the radiator to hold the screen in place.

How it works:
In front of the radiator I mounted an aluminum square tube from frame rail to frame rail. The panel is screwed down to this square tube support. The three screws in the front of the panel (notice the rolled front lip of the panel) screw into another square tube that is riveted onto the back of the screen "loops".
The screen loops fit tightly into the space between the support rod at the top of the inlet, and the fiberglass inlet itself. This is tight enough to hold it in place. The panel provides the support to hold it in place.
I think it looks pretty good. Not bad for my first riveted fabrication.
The really tricky part was making the frame for the screen. I made it out of two 48" long, 1/16" thick and 3/4" wide strips of aluminum I picked up at the local hardware store. I wrapped this around a form I had made to create the shape. The stainless wire is thick enough to hold it's form upon bending, but I had to tap the corners with a small hammer to get the shape. I wrap the second aluminum strip around the wire which is around the first strip. I added a 2" strip on the top to extend it back so I could rivet the 3/4" square tube onto it, which is what the panel screws into.
I'm actually pretty proud of how it came out.

Yours looks good, too. I opted for no oil cooler, so I had this gapping chasm in the front snout. It looked funny to me with just a big hole there, so I thought about it for a bit, and this is what I finally came up with.
Next, I'll put together a removable screen to protect the radiator...
