Default Bob Marshall of Pennsylvania

It is with sadness that I've been made aware that we lost one of our really neat klan last Saturday, 6 June.

Bob Marshall of Newtown Square, PA was killed in his Cobra on the way to an Historical Car Club of PA outing Saturday morning. There is speculation that a deer was involved but not confirmed. All who remember Bob remember his beautiful Superformance with that monster bigblock in it, and his quick wit that went with it.

Godspeed, Bob. You will be missed.

I am so sad. What a gentleman and great guy. He loved going on cruises with my buddy Kenny and myself. One time we were out and it was Cold. Bob forgot his hat. His ears were Red. I asked him if he wanted to stop and buy a hat, and he said "I am having too much fun to stop!"
Wow, I just can't believe it

The more I think about it.............Bob was a very conservative driver in his Cobra. So I really want to know actually happened. He had an earlier car. So I am hoping the rear suspension mounts didn't fail or something else. He was very meticulous about his cars and his Cobra was immaculate and he had some really sweet other ones too.
The more I think about it the more upset And aggravated I am getting.

I know this is old news, but I just found out about this past weekend and I am deeply saddened by this. Bob was a great guy. I spoke with him only a few times per year in different shows. He helped me through some of the challenges of getting a Cobra on the road and was always positive and supportive. He was a great person.

This was an eye opener to me as a Cobra driver to be careful out there. These cars are fast and powerful and do not have the safety of modern cars. I need to never forget that and always respect the car/power. And Bob was a conservative driver. My condolences go out to his family and friends. I am so sorry.

The 8th annual Conshohocken Antique & Classic Car show had it all this year - great weather, mummers, more cars, more attendees, and unfortunately tragedy. It was announced during this year's event that treasurer of Historical Car Club of Pennsylvania, Bob Marshall, was killed in a car accident on his way to Saturday's show. Marshall had worked with Conshohocken Borough on the car show over the past few years Marshall died exactly 5 weeks after his wife Karen who passed away after a long battle with multiple sclerosis
