Default Kit Car & Kit Car Builder Magazines

Are Kit Car and Kit Car Builder Magazines still in publication? Getting back into Cobras and was looking at them on line and it appears all their stories are from early 2009?

I must be talking to the wrong people. I used to subscribe to both Kit Car Magazines and when they went out of business I was told that there would not be any of them available in this area. I believe they still have a Kit Car Magazine of some type in Australia. I would like to find out about Kit Car builder and if they are still publishing and it is available here, subscribe to it.

I just took out three months worth of ads in Kit Car Builder for this year Run N Gun Nationals that we have moved to MPH (Motorsports Park Hastings) race track. I have spoken to Jim Youngs on many occasions and I believe the articles in his magazine Kit Car Builder will include complete replica builds, specialty cars, as well as Cobras, Coupes, Roadsters, etc.

I think Jim is focusing on the complete industry and is trying to service all of the Kit Car and Replica enthusiasts. This may mean a little less Cobra coverage.

That would be ok with me as I like to see all of the replicas and kits out there. I have seen some really great ones at car shows that I never even knew were being built as Kit Cars.

These days I'm a bit gun shy about subscribing to mags. I've had a couple of magazines I had prepaid mulitiple year subscriptions for (for overseas delivery too) only to get a notice that they were ceasing production or reading about how one particular one folded. I've yet to recieve any refunds or answers....for now, I'll buy on the news stands and pay the extra.
