How to make Trigoss look like a magnesium wheel?

I am looking for suggestions on how to refinish Trigos to make them look like the original magnesium wheels. I realize that the valve stems will still be wrong, I am trying to recreate the original look. Any help will be apprechiated.

I've seen a set of wheels glass beaded. Looked very vintage.
