Any idea which Cobra kit this is?
Does anyone know what Cobra kit this is? Do you know the car and owner?
A friend of mine spotted it in Ottawa, Ontario, this weekend. It reminds me of a Classic II roadster, with the long wheelbase and hood scoop shape, but the door cutout is wrong. Don't think I've ever seen a kit with side-marker lights either. The fender decal says "Wild West."

I can't help with the car ID, but the "Wild West Racers" are based in LA. You might try posting this question on the SAAC forum in the LA region sub section. Someone there will probably know this car.

Excaliber maybe because of the side marker lights?

Looks longer than the standard 90" wheelbase. That should eliminate a bunch of manufactures.

Excalibur. The color is pinewood green and it is a 95" wheelbase car.

You guys are good! I checked out other Excaliburs on the gallery for similarities. It's gotta be one of those. The wheelbase, hood scoop, side markers, high-back seats, side pipes, everything looks right.
Thanks for helping solve the mystery.
UPDATE: It looks like the car was recently sold by Camelot Classic Cars Inc., who are now operating the Excalibur business in Milwaukee - http://www.excaliburclassics.com/94cobra.html.
I wonder if this is one of the cars restored by Bob Bennett, of Bennett Coachworks ( www.hotrodbuilders.com).

I believe this is the car on Bill's site pictured between two other Excaliburs in front of the Coachwork's sign. It has VIN ending with 020 so it is an early '95 car and pretty much stayed in Wisconsin most of it's life. It isn't the car that had a minor accident and had a major makeover including engine and interior and documented by a large number of photos on his site. The side markers were removed as part of the body repair and repaint. I believe that car is the green one with gold stripes shown in the same photo.
Any info one these cars, especially location, VIN, ownership and photos or description is greatly appreciated.
Mike
