I had my garage doors lifted to 10' and changed the drive to a side mount which eliminated the overhead drive. They extended the vertical rails to give me maximum height and did not add panels, so when the door is open, it is
mainly vertical and doesn't go back but a couple of feet to the ceiling so is
entirely out of the may. Worked out far better than I would have thought.
