Default Happy 4th of July and please take a minute to watch and listen to this:

I don't care how you feel about me of Ford Motor Company this is a must to view, especially today....grab a hanky:

The best commercial of any commercial ever

Whether or not you are Ford people, this is the best.

Ford is the one US Automaker not Asking For a bailout or a Handout. They
have now come up with this timely and Heartwarming product Commercial that
would make Henry Ford proud of the Company He founded in 1903. To be
completely honest you may want a Kleenex Tissue nearby while Watching this.

Great commercial.

The fact that Ford Motor Company is managing their way through this economic downturn speaks well of their management team---that they positioned themselves better in the market, and managed their finances without becoming over-leveraged. This accomplished against the tide in corporate America, where the controlling modus operandi seems to be "greed". Henry Ford would be proud. FMC should be proud.

I am glad to hear someone else say that it brought a tear to their eye because it sure did me. In fact it really hit home, especially with the Dad not making his reception. My Dad never liked crowds or making a big deal out of anything I did...but I understood him!

Thanks for that. I helps keep things in perspective. I wish we could give all the returning soldiers a new mustang. They are burying a 23 year old Marine today in my small little town. Very sad but we are all VERY proud of him and the support is overwhelming.

God Bless this country, and may we all talk a few minutes today to remember.

Clois, Thanks for posting this. As a 65 year old I well remember the shameful way the Veterans were treated when coming back from Vietnam. No matter which side of the political spectrum you fall on, no one should do anything but honor the people who serve their country. They do not make policy. They serve their country.

I really like that video, it certainly does get you a little misty eyed, but I believe that came out a couple of years ago, didn't it?
