Default Hood Lock (Car Side)

Looking for ideas for how to make/purchase hood locks (brackets) for the car side. I am building a Premier Motorsports car but would think that about all ideas would work from other manufactures.

Thanks in advance

Paul

Paul,

Are you referring to the brackets that go inside the engine compartment where the hood latches come through the hood? If so they there should be several people with pictures of theirs on here. I never had that type on mine and it latched in the center and could only be opened from inside the car. But mine wasn't anything even close to being like an original either.

Ron

You are correct. That is the type that I am looking for that either bolts to the firewall or down through the lip of the hood opening.

Thanks in advance

Paul

Hi Paul,

I've been looking for the same set up for mine. I would guess that these might be available from the individual manufacturers but Nick with the NE Cobra Club has indicated that he can fabricate some for me when I'm ready for them. If you are interested in contacting Nick, his website is http://www.actoncustom.com
