Looking for a Metal Polish that was recommended
Hello all,
SOmeone recommended a metal polish that is in a black bottle part number LSP 8000 for stainless and Aluminum LAP 8100.
I tried searching the web and can not find it. I used this stuff and it works great. However, the label on the bottle is faded and I can not see who makes it.
Can anyone help?

The Kirkhams use and recommend Nuvite. There are many grades of it from coarse to fine. I already bought some Nuvite S for when the time comes to touch up and/or repolish my Kirkham.
You can buy it here:

You could also try Zephyr Pro 40. This was recommended to me by a metal polisher that did all manner of polishing.....wheels, my expansion tank, brass, etc. He sent me to an over-the-road truck maintenance/parts shop and I got a large bottle (1 qt.) of the stuff. It works better than anything else I've found and isn't as expensive as the typical small bottles.

Rodknock,
Let me know how well this works. I have tried Mothers and a brand from Autogeeks and both products require alot of work and I still am not happy with the finish.

David, will do, but my car is good for now. I was planning on buying one of those cyclo polishers, the fleece wraps and giving my car the once over.
Nonetheless, I'm fairly sure this is what the Kirkhams use to polish their cars. At least that was what Joe Weight told me ions ago.
Edit: Old post from Kirkham Forum. Bodyprep Kirkham - How hard is the sanding ???

I've tried many of the products listed by other posters. They are all good to excellent. Personally, this is my choice for the VERY best metal polish I have ever used. I mentioned it on a previous thread and those who tried it were pretty much blown away like I was. You should try it.
