496FE (Brian) to the rescue...
Was preparing ol' SPF747 Friday night for a couple Saturday car events when I discovered that my passenger sidepipe bracket had cracked clean off. I gave Brian ("496FE" on CC) a call and told him that I was pretty much out of the running for the weekend.
His quick response was "Heck, bring it on over and let's stitch that up!" Luckily for me Brian lives about 5 miles away. So off I went to his place and here's a cell phone pic of Brian mig welding the bracket back together, on the car around 10pm, using several layers of masking tape as a heat shield (it works!).
Thanks again, Brian!
Sometimes it's not about what you know but who you know that matters.

Who knew he would actually come in handy one day? The only thing more surprising is that he could squeeze under your car far enough to do the job!!! Like a friend of ours always says - it's not the cars, it's the people...

Lying on Brian's garage floor, now there's a selfless act of courage, so that's pretty impressive Dean. He stood up when he re-welded the tabs on my headers so he must like you better.

Yeah, these little torque monsters are hell on sidepipe brackets. Maybe if I had an FE I wouild be able to auto-lube the entire underside of the car every drive and this sort of thing wouldn't happen.

Ever wonder why those BB guys are so good at fixing things? Practice makes perfect, right?!

Nothing wrong with that uniform. Works for me every day of the week, because as Uncle Buck once said, "This is W-I don't have to go to work today". I parked right next to Dean and the repair was fabulous. Looks permanent to me!
