Are non shelby cars welcome at the friday morning show and cruise to the track? I have a ffr mkii roadster. the host hotel is only 30 min. from my home. is anyone from w.pa going?

The sho is for Shelby cars only, but spectators with anything are welcome. Drive on out to BeaveRun,pay your $20 bucks, the convention will probably never be this close to your backyard again.

The SAAC Convention is NOT for "Shelby cars only"! The CONCOURS car show is for Shelby cars only. The rest of the event, including Track time and the Popular Vote car show are open to any Ford-powered car - Mustangs, Cobra kits, Taurus SHO, Lightning trucks, whatever (no Cheetahs,, unless they are Ford powered).
You are certainly welcome to bring your FFR out, participate in the Popular Vote car show, and caravan out to the track.

So there were more "waxers" at the hotel than there were "racers" at the track?????
Seemed like like a "mini convention" to me, but Hell, I was last at a SAAC meet in 1999......guess the 80's are long gone.............................
