Gather up a box of her favorite glassware, crystal, trinkets.

PLace it on the floor of the garage next to your car.

It will be avoided.

The most difficult part of this will be coming up with multiple excuses for why you have not yet placed it in a proper storage location.

For escalation purposes, you could always pick up a cheap knock off plate, put it in a box with tissue paper. Smash it with your hammer, and locate itnext to the car, or under her tire.

"look what you did honey!"

When she asks why they are there, tell her you were sorting through all that stuff, and thought it would be safe next to the cobra, since your car is WELL OUT OF THE WAY!

She responds by holding my priorities in highest regard....you would think someone stepped on the tail of a cougar if anyone so much as LOOKS like they might touch my cobra haha!!

The string and ball sounds easier.

My wife has a little sports car that I also enjoy from time to time, so I don't mind it being in the garage. I don't blame the ladies for wanting a spot in the garage though. My daily driver is parked outside and it can be a pain in the axx in the winter when it's pouring rain. Wish I had a bigger garage, but it is what it is.
Same here, my wife drives a Sky roadster that she's pretty careful with. She always leaves enough room between the Cobra & her Sky.

Besides, she likes the Cobra too much to damage it!

Guess I'm one of the few lucky ones!

I'm thinking I need to dump the Tahoe and replace it with a Mini Cooper...

After reading these I feel very lucky to have a wife who loves cars as much as I do, is a very good driver, and is also BLOND.

Thats a good start. My lovely bride would continually open her door into the side of my Austin Healey until I did the hanging tennis ball trick.

The real basis to your existing problem is you are trying to apply logic and accountability to a wife's method of thinking.

It does not work that way with them.

Good way to post Lineslinger, "my lovely bride." If she reads this you are not going to be in deep dodo.

Three men married wives from different states.

The first man married a woman from Michigan . He told her that she was to do the dishes and house cleaning. It took a couple of days, but on the third day, he came home to see a clean house and dishes washed and put away.

The second man married a woman from California. He gave his wife orders that she was to do all the cleaning, dishes and the cooking. The first day he didn't see any results, but the next day he saw it was better. By the third day, he saw his house was clean, the dishes were done and there was a huge dinner on the table.

The third man married a girl from Texas. He ordered her to keep the house cleaned, dishes washed, lawn mowed, laundry washed, and hot meals on the table for every meal. He said the first day he didn't see anything, the second day he didn't see anything but by the third day, some of the swelling had gone down and he could see a little out of his left eye, and his arm was healed enough that he could fix himself a sandwich and load the dishwasher.
