Shelby American Collection 9/5/2009

This weekend was mostly cars. I went to the Denver Cars and Coffee, pictures, including these, here:

After I did that I stopped by the Shelby American Collection (which is only about 10 miles from home, I stop every two months or so). Every time something is different. Following are this week's trip report

This one was recently repainted. It had just been the aluminum body there before.

GT350 on loan. This car comes and goes. I hope they drive it when it is gone.





If you go to this place you have to look in the background. Here is a Holman/Moody crate.




I have a few favorite Cobras - this is the top of the list. I am mostly a firm believer that cars should be driven, but this one is really a museum piece and needs to be preserved. I didn't get a shot this time of the placard.

And my favorite Daytona Coupe (because I've seen it up close and personal ) I have other pictures here and the exhibit here hasn't changed, and the last time I went the lighting was better.
