Looking for USA-Made Jack Stands:

Anybody know where to buy or what brand? How about Sears? I called there & the Sears people didn't even know - I haven't had a chance to stop by Sears yet. I would appreciate any knowledge you guys have on this. Thanks.

Norco gives you the option of imports or US made. Their website shows which is which.

Even their imports aren't the cheapy, Harbor Freight type. Professional Quality.

I don't know where these are made, but I use 4 of these and they are great. Even at the lowest setting they are pretty high. And I have had them up pretty high and they are very stable.

Check your local craigslist or garage/flea market sales.

My favorite set of jack stands is an old pair my uncle bought in the 70's, that I took and got powdercoted (sat in our garage nearly 30 years!). Looks like new now, and feels much nicer than the new ones, IMO.
