Default A few pics of my ride and also my battle

I had a request for a few pics of my Cobra since I'm a newbie here. I bought the car used. Found it on the side of the road for sale. It was pretty rough. The nose was cracked, the pipes were rusty and it had Kirkey seats and no carpet but I saw alot of potiental. Heres the only pic I got of it then.

The 1st week I put the carpet in and got rid of the seats and the "R" wheels and put on a set of 18" Bullitts then painted the pipes.

Not being happy with the wheels I put on a set of 17" Coys Eleanors.

Then going for the peiord correct look I switched from EFI to carb.

I was wanting the engine to look a little better and also run a litlle better so I pulled it out and made a 306 with GT40P heads and a B303 Cam, Studded the head bolts and did some mild porting.Added a 650DP and Turkey pan.

October of last year I put her on jack stands and was going to do a few winter mods. I wanted Dual Quads and Pin Drive Wheels and I also wanted to get rid of the wooden dash and put in a more correct one.

In March this year I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma Cancer which actually makes your bones break. I ended up with 14 broken bones and a car on jack stands. Last month I started putting her back together with the help of a friend. We got the narrowed rear end in then the Ron Francis Harness. Got the front changed over, the dual quads on, and it was starting to look like a car again.

While I was lifting one of the rear wheels a week ago Sunday I had a Heart Attack. Had to get one stint for a 99% blockage so I'm back to sitting for a least a month now. Glad you all welcomed me on this forum and I promise I wont complain about anything except not getting to drive my car!!! Thanks for letting me share.

So sorry to hear about your ailment. I am sure looking at that beautiful cobra you have resurrected will help with the healing. Great job on the car!
