Oh come on people, Kyle is just misundertood, he's really a nice young man that needs a reality check like...getting his scrawny little ass fired and banned from NASCAR forever.
In addition, getting his butt kicked by his girl friend and then she should dump him so she won't become an abuse victim.

The greatest punishment of all is for him to lose his car and have another person driving it, for a person who does this professionally for a living it must be like watching someone make love to your wife. Not good, and that was done today.
Given how poorly JGR and Toyota has done in NASCAR this year, they are not going to eliminate their only hope in competing - Kyle is their Golden Boy. Its a viscous cycle; the better he does, the more dependent Toyota and JGR becomes, the more arrogant he becomes, the worse he gets. JGR's team has really sucked this year - and the only thing they have is Kyle - the only thing Toyota has is Kyle. With 5 blown Toyota engines this season alone (another today) and no other Toyota driver out there - they HAVE to keep him. Denny has really slumped this year; great personality but that does not win races. Joey, whom some thought would be the next NASCAR great could barely make it into Nationwide as far as I am concerned - his head is on the chopping block and everyone knows it...The 2nd and 3rd stringers who are being mentored by JGR - well, have a long way to go. And you can see that today with Kyle's replacement - which is why Kyle asks Denny to drive his truck/car in other races.
The greatest punishment is to worry, you won't worry until you don't have a car - and you won't lose your car until you lose sponsorship. So its not a question when JGR will get rid of him (they can't), its a question when MARS candy does. That will only happen when;
A - he stops winning or out of the top 10 or...
B - When the public reaction of Kyle's behavior taints MARs Candies marketing efforts (aka: sales). And you seen a little hint of this today with MARs public statement. It doesn't mean Mars is going to dump him, but the fact that they had to release a public statement tells you something. I mean less face it, he is not sponsoring a beer - but your kids candy.
In most forms of NASCAR; the racing team does not fire you, the sponsors do. They demand top performance and why not? Mars candy just paid for Kyle Busch today in the chase contention and instead they got the 3rd stringer. The terrible economy and many great race teams inability to get sponsors make this all more critical of a component to what has happened. JGR is not worried about Kyle, they are worried about Mars saying good bye.
Never been a Kyle fan, but he is a great race driver - no doubt abut that. He will just be a better one when he grows up. Perhaps he is one that must learn from great tragedy?

They are all Good Drivers, the top overall are great drivers past and present
Lost his cool??? That stupid ass almosted killed another driver. Lost his cool, The yellow lights where out, This means slow down, maintain position, and find out from a spotter what is going on. I hope that the dumbass looks at the film and see what happened and it was not Hornaday fault for hitting Busch. His main sponsor, M&M is not happy at all. Tony S. went through this with Homedepot years ago. Tony lost the 20 car and Homedepot. I think that lossing the Zim as crew chief really hurt him until Grumb came along and he is now back at the near top of the Chase. For Busch, $500,000.00 fine going to a charity, No racing for the end of this year in the 18 car. He's out of the race for the cup. 1 year probation for next year. Every accident will be watched and rechecked. The last 2 races he sits on the box. That jackass cost his crew and team thousands of dollars of bonus money that their families need. He pays for the other wrecked truck out of pocket.
He needs to REALLY hope that M&M doesn't dump him. Joe G can fix alot of things and smooth over rough feathers with sponors. Last chance for stupid and if his love life is not helping his racing, get rid of the gold digger.
The Golden boy in Nascar is Mark Martin, has a little silver upstairs. Nascar will go on without Busch. The next ban would be from ANY RACING form under Dirttrack, IMSA, F1, Nascar for life. Every sport has good guys and bad guys. Accidents happen. After all these years people still go after Stirling Martin for the #3 crash. I think that the air being removed from #3 and a touch of the bumper cause that one. #3 was also blocking. Nascar needs to stop bump drafting and these high speeds or allows changes to the cars for better bumpers and slide materials. Sensor could also be mounted in everycar for stopping this. Car already have this system so not to run over something behind the car. This will slow down the speed a little, maybe save a life. We are in for a good finish of the chase this year. Rick L.

Mars, M&M issued a statement last night on Speed. They are not happy.
Statement from M&M’s, Mars Incorporated regarding Kyle Busch « The Final Lap with Kerry Murphey
This is a double edged sword for NASCAR. Things like this bring viewers, however the hard core fan does not like his attitude. But....... does it still make even the hard core fan more enticed? NASCAR seems to know their audience, I see the sanctioning body done with penalties. They know he sells tickets, get the little azzhole back out there! That's NASCARS thought.
As far as the chase, why is the number one driver (Edwards) sitting in first place with no wins? While number two (Stewart) has four wins now. I feel winning should carry more points, just being consistently up front? Not my view of a champion, you race to win.

Here you go. Not much more really than a slap on the back of his hand but it sounds good.
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- NASCAR has fined Kyle Busch $50,000 and placed him on probation until Dec. 31 for his actions during the Nov. 4 Camping World Truck Series race at Texas Motor Speedway.
Busch violated Section 12-1 (actions detrimental to stock car racing) of the 2011 NASCAR Rule Book. NASCAR took immediate action, parking Busch for the remainder of Friday night's event and maintaining the parked position for the Nationwide and Sprint Cup events scheduled for Saturday and Sunday at Texas Motor Speedway. On Monday, the parking directive was lifted by NASCAR.
In issuing Monday's penalty, NASCAR went on to say that "if during the remaining NASCAR events in 2011 there is another action by the competitor that is deemed by NASCAR officials as detrimental to stock car racing or to NASCAR, or is disruptive to the orderly conduct of an event, the competitor will be suspended indefinitely from NASCAR."

NASCAR sowed the seeds for this kind of behavior. And here's what they end up with: a hot-head ramming another driver while UNDER CAUTION, fer crissakes, and taking him out of contention for the championship.
NASCAR knows that it's boring just watching cars go around in an oval. NASCAR knows it's boring seeing one car dominate a race. So its rules have favored bunching up cars and tolerating - no, encouraging - contact between cars.
It's ridiculous, and Kyle Busch's actions are the logical result.

Logical result, maybe, but there are 35 other trucks on that track that their drivers seem to restrain from that kind of driving. We'll at least most of the time anyway .

He has all of his talent pooled into his ability to drive, and he can certainly handle a car. He can't handle other racers or his head. Maybe he should switch to rally races. Second thought, he would probably plow a spectator he thought was flipping him off. Paris/Dakar?
