Default Been there...done that....

Bruce,

There is an indoor track near Cranky's Brothers place called "Fast Trax". They are indoor carts and the put BABY POWDER on the the course which is basically a large oval on a concrete floor.

Slick as old Bill Clinton and twice as fast!

Gets some ribs and some brews and yer set!

Club Cranky goes indoors for the winter!!!!

We can hire Bill Terry, the track manager from the Glen to do the flags and tell us all about keeping an eye out for any "Whistle Pigs"!

Sorry SDW but Fast Trax ain't no mo. The boy closed the doors last summer.
But in the meantime we can do some snowmobiling at McCronins upstate NY hideout.
Alls we need are snowmobiles, McCronin has the lodge and all the snow we needs.
Maybe McBruce can build us a few cheeter snowmobiles for the winter time blues.

Eh youse guys! We got a great indoor kart track, two tracks actually, right here in Braintree, MA. Only 2 miles from my house. Come on up here and spend the night, get gooned up, raise some McHell and be done with it.

Default August action

New addition to the Club Cranky tour (Winston Cup Racing)
August 23,24 2002 Bristol speedway Bristol Tenn.
No track time for Cranky and McMahon, but we will be bringing the show to Nascar land, probably have to chase away those pesky Nascar drivers trying to join in with the gang. Will probably let the Ford drivers hang with us but the others will have to find their own party.
Thanks to spotterjoe for helping to put this together.
Anybody going to the race is welcome to join the Club Cranky Gang.

Went to Bristol night races the past three years. All I can say is "INCREDIBLE"! Definately worth the price of admission. You will not be dissappointed. It gives me chills for 3 1/2 hours straight. You can't believe how steep the banking is until you stand on the apron. The bottom of the racing surface is above your head.
Now if we could only get them to let us cruise around the track. I have been debating taking the Winston Cup driving school at that track, but I need to save money for an engine first.
On a side note, three years ago they had some Harley club there before the race. It was pretty awesome to see 100 bikes roaring around that place. Maybe someday they will have a C**** club do the same thing.

Cool

Roger,

The track is open till 9pm M-Th, till 11pm Fri, and till Midnight on Saturday.. My sources there tell me that the best time to go racing (without having to deal with the younger under 20 crowd) is from 8pm-9pm Tuesday through Thursday, or after 10pm on Saturday.........

Yours in Fords,

Bill S.

PS: There used to be a slick track off route 17 in Paramus, but their number has been disconnected, making me wonder if they are long gone................

Bill,
Their used to be a track called Fast Trax in Washington NJ but it closed recently.
I rented the place a few years ago for my sons bachelor party and we had a great time. No sleasy bimbos to deal with and my son did not have to make up any storys for his future wife.

JM was there and of course I passed him too many times to count. I am sure he will try to take me out if we join up with you and the others in Hanover.
You are right, this could be an excellent Club Cranky winter event.

Let's do it.

Default Hey Bill....

if you want a poster boy for Selective Memory Disease, just look to Cranky. He sure does remember things differently than they happen.

Must be them 'Rose Colored Glasses' he wears.

Default F1 Boston

Comon up to Boston boys. We have this indoor kart track called F1 Boston. Needless to say, I have a few laps on their two different tracks. A real ton of fun.

I ain't fast but I do finish. And I even give point bys. of course it is with my middle finger.

Cool Cranky one...

Cumon down a few days early... On the 21st they have a Nascar double header, 150 lap Goody dash cars & 250 lap All-pro cars... A buddy of mine in Ca. is probably gonna run the All-pro race just to say he raced at Bristol... Then on the 22nd they have Race Nite in downtown Bristol... Good food and drivers are all there... Well worth the extra 2 days...
