Best coilovers?
I am looking at two brands of coils, Carreras and Eibach. I need 300 to 350 rate. 10" and 2 5/8 ID. Does anyone have experience with both brands and which one do you like or suggest. Thanks

I have used several brands of springs and have only found the Carrera's to be the ONLY spring with accurate pound ratings initially and after a few months use. Check them before you put them on to be sure of their ratings. Other brands will settle in after a while and hold their ratings, but may be as much as 20% off what they advertise.

Not sure if it's worth mentioning considering the custom nature of these cars, but I have a StreetBeast (rather heavy with the thick fiberglass and my custom cage, around 2600LB wet), and I started with 525/375 springs front/back and am now running 475s in the back. Ride is not too harsh, and it as helped me correctly position the rear wheels into the fenders and limit the fiberglass rubbing. I've heard of some guys having much stronger springs, might be worth a calculation.

These guys claim to know all about it. I have no experience with them but thought I would pass along.

I'm happy with the QA1 coilovers on my car, but I have no solid evidence as to how they compare to other brands.

Not trying to hijack this thread, but I am also looking to replace the coilovers that originally came in my CSX 4000 series so I will keep watching recommendations.
