Default Club Cranky at VIR

It's official, Club Cranky has booked a real nice home for our two day visit to VIR this coming May18,19.

We have been thinking , where can we set up our Club for after hours beverage partaking?
Well, Cranky located a nice little remodeled farm house only 1 mile from the track. This means we can party as long as we like without bothering the neighbors and stagger right over to the track in the morning.
I left the tnt's home last time at VIR because I didn't know the accomodations but this place is almost as good as the Seneca and we will probably set some new Club records this May. We may even get to try out the track.

Well,I did my job and found us a place now it is up to the other members to set the aggenda.

Talking Libations Mgr.

Well, need I say more. Open to suggestions. (Yea, I know what you want Crankmeister). Let me know in advance, and please be civil. Cheney already asked about strippers.

Default Good Job Crankenhammer!

Looks like we have 5 definites:

McCranky
McJohn
McHank
McTerry
and new Club Cranky member...McGary??????

McNorm is also a possiblity.

We'll be a mile from the track.

The question is, do we BBQ at lunchtime at the track or just eat thereor go back to the house and eat.???

1st night "Meet & Greet" at hotel with the Olthoff's, follow with a bonfire at Casa Cranky?

2nd night - Club Cranky will BBQ and graze at the rented Casa Cranky. Cranky will become a fetus thanks to Hank. I will become a number of folks. Look out for the demented CS, he will be full blown if someone brings a bottle of scotch. GOOD SCOTCH. Some strange wommennsssss may find their way to the bonfire. Its like gnats to a light bulb.

We can also have breakfast at the house. We will need to put together a list of who brings what.

Cranky is checking to see if we can have a bonfire without burning down the house.

Who else from north of the Mason-Dixon line is coming?????

Rumor has it that McFez and Joe Rodimista and Gary are a possibility.

Will Mr. Bruce make the trek? Mr Mustang? Tim Lewis? Bill Karns? Anyone else???? Will Evan come and compare rivets with Jim Harrell of Nostalgia Motorcars???

Who from down south is coming?????

RacerAl?
Cobra Earl?
DreamMaster?
Flyin Freddie?
Wade the RainMan?
Jim Colman??

Once again, Dem YANKEES is invading Da Souff, hide yer women and chillun!!!!!!

Default Hey Chef of the Future....

...better bring a trough full of dem ribses. Did I mention that ole SDW jes lub dem ribses fron da Glen???? Dr. Crankenstein did too.

We'll try and recreate the Seneca scene at VIR. This track is just about 2 miles into North Carolina. Ya better bring the Cheetah Girls and tell them to bring extra fixins.....Ah don't mean condiments either.

...maybe Condom-Mints?

The VIR info is at:

http://www.secondstrike.com/Events/VirSpring2002.htm

and the info on the rented Casa Cranky is at:

http://www.staynearby.com/staynearby...0Oak/Index.htm

Now point me to the bonfire and the guy with 16 nipples.

Default Oh Mah Gawd!!!!!

Jaysus!

The original, Core Cranky Crew is going to VIR to visit the Club Clampett gang!!!!!!!!

I can't believe McFez finally broke down and joined us.

You boys north of the Garden State Parkway can stay at my dump the night before if you like to lessen the trip.

Cranky,

Some of these boys are going to Summit Point (w/ COM) on the way back. Interested in making a double trip out of this????

We don't have anything scheduled for June or July, so as long as we don't break at VIR, why not?

Hank,

I don't think John wants to travel that far or can't get away from work, one or the other.

Hank,
Right now John Cronin is either in California or Hawaii, his wife is not sure. He's trying to land a big deal out west and is not sure which events he will be able to attend. He is having back problems and the long tow's are too much for him.

He will probably do some PDA events at Pocono and or The Glen.

Thumbs up Stop Over

Eh Giovanni,

We will probably take you up on the stop over, Thurs. PM.

What is being done to get us all registered for the VIR event?

Sorry to hear about JC's back. Hope to see him one of these trips. He mentioned he may come to the Chowdafest in July and stay the weekend, sans Mustang.

I can hardly contain myself. All the the biggest yahoos and maniacs in the northeast on the same track at the same time. :LOL

I'm tryin to get some interest from the FFR boys, but Carlisle is that weekend. Who knows. Dave Smith, etc would love to stop by on the way home.

heh heh heh.

Count me in fellows! Maybe I can get some of my slack assed buddies and their FFR's to join us.

Cheers

Default Hank,

Is this on the registration form? If so, just list Cranky's name or mine and associated it with Club Cobra.

Roger already spoke with Mike Stenhouse of Second Strike.

Unhappy I'm not so sure about this...

I'm not so sure about stayin' at 'Club Cranky's Most Excellent Accomodations"...sounds like some of you Yankee trash may be lookin' for a Butt Pirate somewhere's in the middle o'de night...and YES!, I have seen "Deliverance" and NO! I won't squeal like a pig...!

But, it indeed sounds like a fun time will be had by all. I may opt for the Hotel...hey, I like having a bathroom all to myself, okay? .... But, I could indeed be in for some o'dem ribosci's! You want me to bring my smoker...gas grill...or what? Oh...and I got scotch....and good scotch, too. As well as T-N-T's, yeah I do....you betcha! My new one's are V-n-T's....that's Vodka -n- Tonics....Grey Goose vodka to be exact...try it, you'll like it.

I do indeed plan on being in attandance, barrring any unforeseen circumstances. I've already put on my calendar, and planning on being there. Let me know what I need to plan on bringin'....and save me a Cheetah....IF ya catch ma'drift....!

Talking Oh..and one more thing...

About these 'Gasholes'...I know you've read their miscellaneous posts regarding their opposition to "Club Cranky". Since I've never 'officially' been to a Club Cranky soiree, but profess to be the 'Southern Contingent' of Club Cranky, I'm wondering about my qualifications as a potential 'Gashole'.

From what I understand about each, I could qualify for either, depending on the surroundings. My wife, God love her (someone needs to), says I could be a charter member 'Gashole'. All I need are a couple beers, some onion rings, maybe some hard boiled eggs (just for resonance, you understand), and I could fumigate most of New Jersey...no offense meant, JohnnyMac....

Right on the other hand, from time to time my alter ego, Raoul Yerkson, has emerged while under the influence of mind altering liquid substances. During these episodic excursions I claim to have no recollection of past or present escapades, and will refudiate all claims made against me, or my family - specifically those that reference compensatory damages, or those that involve any sort of legal representation. In other words, if it involves money or attorneys, I'm not responsible for my actions and cannot be held liable, or in contempt, for that matter.

So, once again, I'm in a quandry....am I a Gashole, or a Cranky-ite? Alas, only time and alcohol will tell....

FF,
You are certainly welcome to join in with us at Camp Cranky for out nightly cookout especially since you is bringing plenty of libations.
Since you is already talking to the libations mgr. McHank, he will clue you in to what we is drinkin.

You will have to confer with J McMahon concerning which Club you is in, either with the Crankies or the Clampetts unless you want to be known as a BIG Gashole.

In charge of nothing Cranky

BTW FF it's about time you showed up on this thread.
