Question

Big Bob,

Wa-choo talkin' 'bout Willis???????

That picture is just seconds before Joe Rodimista did a remake of the remake that Linda Ronstadt sang of "BLUE BAYOU"!

I think my car was spinning in circles down the front straight after Joe went by. I was making those Bugs Bunny "ah-ya-ya" sounds.

Joe be fast.

Guys, Boris has instructed 1/2 the cup guys at one time or another. Poll the cup guys on who the best road racer is and Boris would win the poll not Tony not Robbie. He had the #2 car for Jasper with a make shift crew. They don't usually run 2 cars. He is always one of if not the fastest guy in practice. But, you have to put it all together for the race. Maybe he will do it at the Glen. Scott

Scott,
I like Boris as much as anyone but when he is driving a Winston Cup Car On a road course he is just not quite as good as the best Nascar Road racers. I think in a Trans am car then he would be the better driver.Perhaps if he drove a full season and adjusted to the extra weight of the Cup car ,then maybe he would be just as good.
Also the Winston Cup guys run much longer races than the T/A guys and you have to learn how to pace youself . Look what happened to all the guys that charged to the front only to tear out the rears. Rudd ran up close to the front all day and when the others wore out he was there for the win.

My .02

Cranky, you are correct in that he has not shown to be as good. Last year, he finished in the top 10 at the glen and sears. The year before he was the fastest guy in practice at the glen. Qualifying got rained out, so they drew straws for the last few spots and he lost so he could not compete. 2 years ago a weld broke on the a frame and he was out. He then took over for jaspers driver mid race and climbed 20 spots. He originally qualified 20th after being fastest in practice too. The make shift crew had over filled the oil tank and it was leaking in front of the rear tires for qualifying. 3 years ago at the glen he was in 5th with 12 laps left, the 4 in front still had to pit and the motor broke. If he has a good car, good crew and qualify's well, he will win one of these years. He is hard on parts though. I think hes just as good as Martin, Rudd, Stewart, Wallace, and the Gordon(s). Scott
