Default New Tow Vehicle!

I pick up my new tow vehicle in a couple of days. It's a 2002 Ford F150 4x4 with a 5.4 liter engine and automatic tranny. Fancy shmancy!

Anyone interested in my 1999 Windstar SEL?

Hank,
Good choice. No need for a cooler now just fill up the back with plenty of ice covering the libations and we will have enough for a week.

GOOD JOB,

RD

BTW pickups also make good tow trucks.

34 cu-ft of ice and a 55 gallon drum of TnTs and we're all set.

Just picked the truck up. Needs a couple of items finished up, but wanted it for the weekend to sort out the brake control, hitch height, etc.

Cool Good choice!!!

Hank,

You won't find a better tow vehicle unless you get a F350 Power Stroke diesel!!! At the local tracks all the brand x racers use Fords as tow vehicles... When you ask them why they don't use brand x for towing, its always the same answer... " not as reliable & don't have the creature comforts... Enjoy...

Thanks for the kind words. I got it with a 5.4L engine and lots of creature comforts. I had one with a 4.6 and didn't like the constant downshifting.

Can't wait to tow with it.
