McFEz,
Don't get yer panites all in a twist. I agree.
Find a club that is there the same week, get the info, post it here and everyone is responsible for their own registration and particpation. We supply the tent for the shade at the track, DATS IT!
They wanna race, they gotta sign up. Too much hand holding, DIY (DO IT YERSEFF)!!!
This is how the Crankoids always do it... no burpin or a$$wipin'.

Don
My apologies--of course you are Don--you will always be Don--I had a brainfart. Lo siento.
No--I agree re joining in on something already hosted--that's what we do out here. My suggestion re SCCA was, as I thought I stated but obviously not clearly, to see if they have contacts with other clubs that may have dates (many SCCA members belong to other clubs as well). I agree they won't make Cobras welcome under their own regs--surprized they jumped in on the autocross, but that is mucho easier.
Just to cover all bases...
Hank--man, I'm really sorry!

No problem Jamo. Don's the one that seems to be upset with you confusing him for me, the handsome, silver tongued rascal that I am.

I'm not upset, just getting the job descriptions within Club Cranky straight for the left coasters.
Jamo: Your were clear in your statement, as well as in your desire to help. I have found that the tracks themselves are the best source for club names, since our choice will be limited by specific date rather than type of club . The SCCA kind of looks at these types of events from afar, not being within their scope of operation. But they are a good source for track names that are lesser known to us non-locals.
I am in contact with: Mid-Ohio, Nelson Ledges, IRP, Putnam Park, and Beaver Run. Anybody else know of any others within 150 miles or so?
I need a drink....oh Hank.......

Just what the world needs, another small block car
Who's gonna witness this? If I thought Cranky knew how to use that camera of his, I might expect some video.
Congratulations love.

Not me
Count me out on the JM video, way too busy trying to figure out where to get money to pay for replacement engine.
May have to haul FE SO street engine (450 hp) out of basement and use as a substitute race engine untill proper(sb) engine is built.
Most Club Cranky members willing to tow to Ohio for SFIII if nearby track time is available.
If not we will probably just keep our show back East.
