That's the impression I get about the Cobra. At national events, the Cobra is classified as AP. But at the local level, it's wherever they decide to put you. I even asked our chairman about being AS, and he said he'd move me if I really wanted, but we just both shrugged our shoulders and let it be. I don't mind AS, I run with the C4 'Vettes, older M3s, so it's pretty competitive. Being stuck in a class like E Mod or Prepared would be hard, because they are such catch alls. But like I said before, as long as I can run, they can put me wherever they want.
