Track Time, Come Play
KEITH WILLIAMS (KEITHW) HAS RENTED NO PROBLEM RACEWAY IN BATON ROUGE FOR JULY 23-24. ALL ARE INVITED TO COME RUN WHAT YA BRUNG FOR GOOD TRACK TIME AND GOOD PEOPLE.
WE ARE HOPING TO HAVE 20 CARS. DOUG REED IS IN AND THERE SHOULD BE 5-6 CARS FROM TEXAS.
COST IS LOW AND DEPENDS ON THE NUMBER OF CARS THERE. IF THERE ARE 20 CARS THEN THE COST WOULD BE $75.00 PER DRIVER PER DAY. CAN'T BEAT THAT. YOU WILL GET PLENTY OF TRACK TIME DRIVING AT ANY SPEED YOU WISH. SAFETY IS THE OVERALL KEY AND HAVING FUN IS THE OVERALL GOAL.

May be able to make it on the 24th,only about 2.5 hours from me.... A lot depends on how things go at the open track event in Nashville on the July 4th weekend...Will know more after the 4th weekend...
Talked to a buddy that Vintage races a 65 GT-350 about NPR,he has run it early on and said it is a very good track,but a little tight to his liking. I understand they have made a number of changes since opening though....
If things work out and nothing brakes or fallls off my car between now and then and the "boss" lets me sneak out,I'll be there....

Track Time
I spoke with Jay Yesterday about running at No Problem Raceway in Baton Rouge on July 23 and 24 (Wednesday and Thursday) and he tells me the sessions will be up to one hour each and comprise of only 8 or 10 cars per session. This will be a great time to shake down your snakes and the cost is about half of what we usually have to pay for track time.
Since it is about a 10 hour drive for me, my wife and I are going down on Tuesday and run the sessions on Wednesday and Thursday and then we are driving down to Gulfport and spend a couple of days at the beach and nights in the Casinos. Beautiful beaches and Jay promises no humidity and mild temps.
Come on down for the fun.

WE ARE STAYING AT THE BEST WESTERN IN MORGAN CITY. I HAVE BLOCKED 20 ROOMS AT $60 PER NIGHT, SINGLE, DOUBLE, MINI SUITE, WHATEVER YOU WANT.
TELEPHONE NUMBER IS 985-385-9175. MANAGER'S NAME IS DUDLEY NOSWORTHY AND HIS PRIVATE CELL NUMBER SHOULD YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEMS IS 985-518-9909.
SO FAR WE HAVE ABOUT 20 PEOPLE BUT MAY HAVE MORE. KEITH REQUESTS THAT EVERYONE BRING CASH SINCE WE HAVE NO WAY OF USING CREDIT CARDS FOR PAYMENT. IF WE HAVE 20 THE COST IS $75 PER DAYIF WE HAVE 30 THEN THE COST IS $50 PER DAY. DANG WHAT A DEAL FOR ALL THE TRACK TIME YOU CAN STAND.

When does the track open and when do you'll expect to be there Thursday morning???? When will the sessions begin????
I'm about two to two and half hours away,but a very early riser in the morning. Plan to be loaded up the day before and head out bright and early thursday morning. Can be there around 7:30 to 8:00 am very easily...

Guys;
Extended forecast for the area is; good chance of rain Monday & Tuesday,clearing/partly cloudy Wensday and bright sunshine Thursday,all in all very good weather forecast....
Will see you'll thursday morning bright and early,car full of gas and new brake pads already installed.....
