Default Drivers Education Insurance

What companies are you guys using?

I want to drive my streetcar on the track in drivers ed events and want to make sure my policy will cover it. I have asked my agent to research but I know many of you guys already have policies for this. Can you share the name of the companies that cover it? How about the companies that definitely do not cover it.

thank you

dan

Dan;

Just check your policy's fine print.... Every policy that I've read or am familar with says no coverage "for organized racing events"....

Not sure what you are going to do at this drivers ed thing,but as long as it is not an organized racing event,you should be o-k.... Not the same as an open track where you are driving at speed....

If this is just to drive around on a track at highway speeds or less for demo purposes,than I would think you will have coverage.....Something like driving a NASCAR track before a race,like on parade laps?????

David
