Default My upcoming track time at Indy Speedway

Taking the family to Disneyworld, and I need any/all inside scoop on the the Tomorrowland Indy Speedway track in the Magic Kingdom so that I may mercilessly beat my 9 year old son to the checkered flag. He just won't try any other way

Seriously, any of you ever run it? Entry points, exit points on each turn by number would be seriously appreciated

-John

John,

Take an extra $300 and spend it at the Richard Petty Driving School there outside Disneyworld. This will be a little side trip for yourself and your son will be so impressed watching you drive around the track at almost 140 mph by yourself. No kidding I highly recommend this expense in fact I believe it is justified!

Might just have to do that. Hell, since I'm there already... I practically HAVE to! (Sorry... just practicing for when I say it to the wife )

Is this like a couple hours, or a one day deal?

We stayed at a hotel right next to the speedway a few years back. Every morning would wake up to the sound of screamin' NASCAR V8's. Very frustrating. Go do it (try http://www.1800bepetty.com/intro.html).

John,

It takes about 2 or 3 hours for everything. Money well spent.

John,

You have to do it. Like Clois said, it is about 2-3 hours. They even have a shuttle that can pick you up and drop you off at the Magic Kingdom transportation center. I sent the wife and son off to Magic Kingdom and did it. I think I would have preferred to have him there to watch. My wife was the one insisting that I do it, and I am glad I did. We did the ride along in Daytona several years ago.
