Default We need drivers

Update 7/25/06,
Seems like a bunch of you guys deceided to join in and now we have plenty of students. Even had to recruit some more instructors.
Now we still have some openings for Open trackers, that is if you can stand 5 hrs. a day of driving your car at the limit.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Guys, we still need a few more students to fill some open slots at the Apex August 3,4 event at Watkins Glen.

If you ever wanted to see what your Cobra could really do here is your best and safest opportunity.
Excellent instruction from experienced Cobra drivers and the absolute best road course in the USA.
Bring your wife and kids and get your photo taken at speed on a real race track. (no your wife and kids cannot ride in your Cobra). A track photo of you in your Cobra at speed is worth more than all the show trophys you will ever collect.
WARNING, OPEN TRACKING CAN BE ADDICTIVE AND SO FAR THERE IS NO KNOWN CURE.

thanks,
Roger D

Guys,

Just as a small addition to Rogers post above.....You do not have to bring a Cobra, just about any other car that will pass the tech inspection is allowed. Roll bars prefered(manditory on any convertible) of course, but I have seen some daily driven Porsches, Audi, Subaru, and ??? at these track events.........

Default August 3rd & 4th................

Roger is right...whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced driver, this is a great event with lots of instruction.

Currently there is less than half the normal number signed up, which means....

LOTS OF TRACK TIME!!!!!!!!!!!

45 min sessions will probably be the norm. This is a great time to learn how to drive your high performance machine betther than before.

Watkins Glen is driver (and beginner) friendly, lots of upgrades have been made, armco has been moved back, corners improved, etc.

Come run on the course that put Road Racing in America on the map, you won't regret it!!!!

Geez guys, I have an old IBM friend who used to live up there and run his Healy there. He's moved back to Arkansas now and tells me great stories of how much fun it was. Wish I lived closer cause if you guys would have a little patience I'd darn sure like to try.
