Has anyone heard of a 351 "G' Block...
It is susposedly a NASCAR series that was used last year. I have never heard of a G block so if anyone has any input I would appreciate your help.

Clois:
The VIN column on the far right indicates blocks with a " G " code, not knowing if this designation is what you are referring to:

Click on the far left column for engine details

Thanks Don,
I saw this engine on RACINGJUNK.COM and was impressed with all the high dollar parts that had been used in it's build but I was not sure what significance a "G" block had to do with the selling price.

The G351 block is a full water-jacketed, non-siamese bore block. That block preceeded the R351 siamese bore block. The G351 was replaced because the max bore size was limited.

Thanks Scott,
Dean will be glad to know this since his laptop has a virus and he can't get online for a day or two.

I have a std bore brand new G351 Block .. funny the listing always says its a dry block .. mine is a unaltered wet block..... I'm building a motor for my GR4 Pantera with that block ..since I have to stay within stock CU inches .. I chose this block since I got a good price on it .. it has all 5 mains 4 bolts .
