LRP is a high speed track. Almost all the corners are high speed. First and second gear are not needed. If you can maintain your speed through the corners you will do well. Last year I turned 59.1 in a 140 HP car on street tires. That's an average of 93MPH.
High HP cars have a bigger advantage where they get to lay down rubber from one turn to the next.
