Will this club be in direct competition with the new Shelby Team Club?

That's right. This club is more for racers.

Thanks, John

Geez don't you guys know anything about sophisticated racing lingo. It means:

“A Non Ground Effect Pure Mechanical Grip Piece”

In other words, if you are racing your Cobra......you are racing a N.A.P.M.G.P. as opposed to a NASCAR or Formula 1 car....both of which are definitely NOT the N.A.P.M.G.P. because they take the wussy approach by using various design methods to manipulate the air around the car for performance enhancement.

Thanks for the clarification jdean. I was stumbling on that one big time.
No doubt the Cobras qualify for that nomenclature.

Bill, that is right, you do not qualify......especially since the only reason your Daytona even exists is because the aerodynamics of the brick shaped 427SC could not fly fast enough down the Mulsanne Straight!

HI Cobra.....Hey I cant take credit for knowing the N.A.P.M.G.P. ----I just read it in the JBL thread coming from Richard Hudgins....leave it the engineering types to come up with this stuff.

Hahahaha. Jdean gets the prize. It's sort of an inside joke with a few of us here on CC; and then again, some people really take this stuff serious.

That's fine Bill. Just make sure you put the brick in the front of the car or passenger seat.....

Huh? The letters don't match the abbreviation.
I think it stands for:
North American Performance Machine Generating Power
Nothing's About Perfect Mileage-Gross Power
Never Assume Performance Modifications Gain Power
Non-African Positively Menacing Green Python (doesn't apply to green SPF's)
