Engine recomendations
Hey guys. I'm looking for some input from some track guys with some hours under their belts. Right now I have a 408 with AFR 205s, forged crank, rods and some other bits, mated to a Viper spec T-56, and a 3:64 BMW M3 LSD, running at about 440RWHP. She pulls great, gearing also seems spot on.
However that being said, she's too nice to beat up at a track so she's going on the block, to be replaced by more of a track only car.
Right now, I'm looking at either a dry sumped Roush 402R, or a Roush/Yates 385?
I'd like to stay around the same HP numbers, seems about right for the car.
Reliability is paramount, she will be carbed. Everything else is up for grabs.
Thanks for any input,
Richard Bailey
