Default Surge tank/Swirl pots?

I would like to add a surge tank / surge pot to my fuel system. I am having difficulties in high G turns loosing fuel pressure (EFI). I have found a few cheap make shift systems that I can build and a few from over seas but I haven't been able to find someone that makes a tank in the States...Any one know where to source one?

There was a thread on this several months ago. Some key words in the title were "fule sump ideas and horror stories". ByronRACE had some very good input.
One of the ideas was http://delphi.com/shared/pdf/ppd/pwrtrn/series7000.pdf
Sorry I haven't mastered thread searches yet!
Good luck.

You can make your own with a little work. Best place to look is over on the www.gt40s.com and search for swirl pot. Several guys there have done them.

Basically a 1 gallon jug with 4 ports. 1. input from maintank pump, 2. outlet to main EFI pump to engine, 3. return line from regulator, 4. vent to main tank. With this setup the pump from the main tank only need to keep up with what is actually burned by the engine so a typicaly holley pump works fine.

Fuel Safe makes several "in tank" surge boxes if you have access to the inside of your tank.
