Need help with leakdown tester.
I have a leakdown tester that has a 14mm male fitting crimped on the end of the hose.
I bought an 18mm taper seat adapter and it will not thread on as my new adapter is 1/2" female to 18mm male tapered seat.
What I need is a 14mm female to 18mm taper seat adapter.
Dont want to buy a new tester.

OK , Here is what I have discovered. Napa sold me a "air hold adapter" and the threads are 18mm tapered seat male to a 1/4 PIPE female. This will ever work for me.
What I need is a 14mm female to 18mm male tapered seat fitting that is purpose made for a leakdown tester-not a damn air hold fitting.
Or the whole darn hose and fitting if that is the only way to buy replacement parts.

Snap-on has a 14mm to 18mm adapter for a compression tester. This would work but does anyone know if this is a TAPERED seat adapter. Can't tell by the picture or discription.

flat or tapered, you might be able to put an o-ring on it and use it. mine has an o-ring.

Good point-now all I have to do is run down a Snap On truck and I bet they will have to order it. I wanted to get this all done this weekend.
