Default First Good Ride

Finally resolved the power brake issue. Manual just didn't feel right for me, I went with power. Took the car out Monday, with the feeling that I could stop the car if I had problems, this thing is unreal and I only went to second gear, not even full throttle. I've had hotrods and nothing compares to what I have now. I have a small block 347 that makes 450HP & 430 ft/lbs. at the flywheel and it will stand the hair up on your neck. Part of it is it hooks up so good that you get the full effect of the power. I was wondering how the A&C would handle and as far as under power it stays straight as if on rails. I'm very pleased with my purchase. I don't see how you guys do it with the big block power like 427, 460 etc. I can get used to this real quick. Can't wait to get it out on the open road. Might even go to a local road coarse (No Problem Raceway) just to get the feel of the car. Needless to say, I am all smiles.

Joey

Talking

There's nothing like that first blast down the road, its been a couple of years since I first took mine out and I have to admit I still grin like a kid with a new toy every time I lay into it. Your car looks Great, you should be very proud of your work!

Have fun, Sam

Take it easy for a while, these rides can get away from you real quick like!
Enjoy and be safe!

Thanks for all the comments. You and all the rest have been a big help. The photos of your projects were a big part of getting it done. You can believe I will take my time getting use to the feel of the car.

Thanks Again
Joey
