Default Trunk Complete

Finaly finished off the trunk. The carpet was, only way I can say it, tough.
But I happy.

Great idea. The hinges look stronger with that modification too.

Ok, I am bringing this one back to life since I would like to do the same. What size shock did you use here?

Default Trunk Support

I'm sorry for the delay. I got the shock from McMaster Carr. The spring rate is 40 lbs. The extended length I used is 15 1/4". Part #4138T55.

Hope this helps.
