Default rear end

i have everything to put my rear end all together except for the brakes. Do you have to have the brake your going to use before you put ur center section and axles in?

cobrabritt83 - I got my rear disk set-up (11" Disk) from AC. The bracket that holds the caliper goes between the axle outer flange and the rear end housing. So you can install the pumpkin (center) but don't set your axles in . If you are using drum brakes - I'm not sure what you need to do.

Default Rear end

You can install the gears in the diff and then install the rear end to the frame.
What are you using for rear brakes?

Yes, you can install the rear end (Diff) - then install the axles. Mine has been a slow build ~3yrs+ so far - but the Rear Disks are 84-86 Mustang and the calipers are '86 Caddy's with emergency brake hookup. The front calipers are 86 Chevy S10 with 75? Granada disks - All are 11 inch disks. everything seems like it fits fine.... probably another year before I finish.
