Default front shocks

Does anybody know what model number the aldan shocks are that come with the kit and go on the front. I looked up the coil weight rating on there web site and it is only 350 lbs. I am going with a big block 427 so i assume that i will need to change the coils to ones that are rated higher. Has anybody come accross this problem before and how long are the coils on the front. i measured them and they measured at 9.5 inches but they are installed on the frame already. i think that they are 10 inch coils.

Default Shocks

I have a 428 in my A&C and the shocks and springs work well.

Joe T has different springs available.
On the last one Joe T built he had a 427 in it.
Why not just call him?
Don't call A & C and ask Sonny - ask Joe

check my thread in the 460 and in this forum. i changed my entire suspension, corner balanced it, and made several other changes. basically went with 550 pound QA1 in the front and 250 pound QA1 in the back. THe original shocks/springs were ok for the street, barely acceptable at an autocross, and a complete mess on a road course
