I've been building my cobra since 2008. I finally got it weighed on Saturday. The cobra came in at 2360 lbs. I have all the paperwork complete and ready to send up to Albany. Hopefully I'll be on the road this spring.

Congratulations. I went threw the NY process this summer. You'll end up having the car inspected for stolen parts. They'll check all of your receipts. If it passes the inspection they should give you paperwork that you'll then send back to the Albany DMV office.
When I went through the inspection the officer told me they would mail me the paperwork that I needed for Albany DMV. I protested and said he should be giving it to me. He said I was wrong. I waited along time for it. It never came. I called Albany and they confirmed that I should have left the inspection with it. This mixup delayed me getting my car registered. Very frustrating.

If you have any questions you can reach me at. 603-504-4106. Or at bigbellybanks@gmail

I'm in Elizabethtown, NY

My A&C weighed in at 2400 lbs. even with a stroker 427, TKO 600 and a full tank of gas.

Congrats on the milestone!
