Default Antique and collectible guy needs motor mounts

Ok guys,

Where can I get motormounts for my 302? I have the frame(motor) mounts From Antique and Collectible, and I have these old mounts that came from the car the engine was originally in. I would like to put new mounts on the engine? I appreciate all who reply.

Jerry

You can get standard mounts from NAPA. That's what I did for my 351. I thought I wanted to reduce the amount of engine torque movement. Thought I would go with the Polyurethane mounts, not available for "70 351's. There is a lot of stuff on the threads about mounts. Do a search.
I decided to buy some from Mite Mounts in Calif. They said that they reduce the amount of movement. After spending $125 and putting them on, they only reduce the amount slightly. A bit disappointed. Good Luck
Jim
