Things&Stuff???
I just picked up my body kit this last week and though I have not really had time to look at all the parts I have already seen some stuff that I have no idea what it might be for.One box that came along with the package contains a bunch of steel scraps. I am guessing some of them are braces that will fall into place down the road but there were also several of what looked to be 1" to 1 1\4" tube cut into 1 1\2" sections. I looked through the instructions and never saw any mention of these.
I guesss my question right now would be that as I start putting the car together will some of this make some sense or will I have parts left over when I think I am done????
Thanks Guys
Aaron

Don't take this wrong, but what car are you talking about?? Who makes it? Is it just the body or is it a roller and body or is it just a whole bunch of parts you are expected to assemble into the car?
We do have some people here who have had more than one manuafacturer car, so they should be able to give you a hint.
Hope this helps

Hi Aaron i believe the tube may be for your steering column is it like2' long and expanded on one end? and as for the steel pieces side pipe brackets , brackets for your front brake lines, and possibly others, If you have any questions you can email me. have fun Neil

Also the small pipes are the sleves that slide in between the headers and side pipes. these seal the two units together. you also will have brackets which go from your dash to the firewall. have fun

I had alot of those brackets left over cause I made my own in many cases. I believe, as above, those cuts of tubing should be for the headers/pipes. How many?
Also you may want to consider using an Ididit steering column instead of screwing around with a used one. The Ididit is wired and has self cancelling signals and e-flashers.

Thanks guys.
I looked again last night and there are 8 of the cut pipes. Makes sense now that they are for the headers.
I figured the steering wheel extention out but I will use the F River or the Ididit.
Thanks Again
