Default A&C Rear Lighting?

This may sound like a real stupid question, but here it goes. The A&C lighting package comes with 2 lights w/red lens and 4 lights w/amber lens. NO problem so far. 2 amber lens up front for turn/parking lights. 2 amber and 2 red for the rear. Now for the stupidity, which lens goes on top in the rear (red or amber)? What is the light sequence, e.g. which lights blink for turn signals (one color or both), which light up for brakes (obvious the red, but do the ambers also light), 4-ways, (all 4 lights)? Am I just over thinking this whole thing? This wiring is driving me CRAZY!!!

Not sure if there is a correct position of the red and amber. I put the amber on top and the red below. When I brake only the red lights.

Haz,

I have the red on top at the rear. Only my red lights come on for breaking.
Yellow for directional. Are you using a wiring harness? I used American Autowire. I can tell you the exact wires to run to which lights if we have the
same harness, or maybe someone on the forum has the same harness as you. Hang in there! Remember warm days are coming, you're getting close!

Regards,

Jer

Thanks guys, I guess it's a coin flip to see which color gets placed on top. BTW Jer, I'm using a Ron Francis harness.

Hey Haz,

Just wondering how much you have left to go?

Is it looking like a late spring launch?

Not much left, harness, mount seats, attach latches (hood & trunk) and carpeting and the first start. I really want to start this "bad boy" !!!!!

First time I started mine I inadvertently had two plug wires switched. Needless to say the sound coming from the side exhaust sounded like a high caliber rifle! Still there is nothing like turning the key for the first time and hearing your baby roar to life after all the months of building! Good luck, hope you are on the road soon!

Regards,

Jer
