272 Y Block parts needed
Hi All i own a 272 Y Block its in a ski boat and i have cracked a head need a replacement cant find any.
any person know of any thing floating around?

Well theres a blast from the past! I ran some 312 heads on my old 272 back in high school. Good luck with your search.

Check eBay as parts show up there all the time.
I used to have a dual quad intake for 312. Don't remember what I ever did with it.

As I remember, the heads/rockers didn't oil well. When I owned my 56 Ford truck, (25 years ago) it had an external oiler that fed oil through a tube to the rear most valve cover bolt. It was hollow and carried oil to the rocker shaft. The other end of the tube screwed into a galley on the side of the block. Wasn't pretty but it sure worked.

Thats right LMH, every GOOD Y block has that mod. My family ran a 1957 Ford at the local dirt track oval in the late 60's. We gave 'em hell, but I tell ya, those stinkin' Chevys consistently shot us down. I hate them to this day.
