Hydraulic clutch assembly in Antique an Col.

Looking through the Ant.and Collect. manual. I am starting to get prepared for the clutch assembly. They recommend or suggest a using a nisson pickup slave cylinder and a honda master cylinder for the clutch. Anybody here try it and have pictures? I am going to use t-5 and most likely a cast bellhousing.

I did get my 11" metric brakes mounted. I am having a heck of a time putting on the dust cover. The hub diameter seems a bit small. Any tips.

I used a Tilton hydraulic throw out bearing, no slave. Installed a Tilton floor mounted pedal set with dual master cylinders for the brakes and one for the clutch. I have over 25k miles on it without a problem.

Hey guys, been awhile. I used the same setup that calls for in the manual. Running a 427 with a 4spd toploader. During my test runs, that was one of the systems that i didn't have any concerns with but it is still early. Have only put 30 miles on it so it is too soon.
sourcing the parts was hard but managable. Easy system to install Ended up mounting the slave cylinder to the side of the frame using a block of aluminium. Its strong enough to engage my 4spd toploader clutch.

I talked to Joe from a&c. He said he used the honda master with good success. He suggested one of the speedway slaves for the clutch.

I wanted to use a manual brake master and he recommended the corvette (boo... chevy) from a 76 year. I need to research the diameters of both to make sure they work with my 11" disc and svo explorer rear brakes.

I can't get my dust caps on either. any suggestions?

I haven't really looked at them yet. But I think the rotor hubs openings are too small and the retaining washer is interfering also. I might have to pull the rotors and open them up a bit and grind down the wash's little bit also. I am using 11" rotors. Not sure if they make a slightly smaller cap.

I had the same problem with the dust caps....just used a small grinding stone to grind the outside of the caps. It took no time at all.
