Az. Diner group= free citrus
Hey gang,
This is mainly for the Tuesday night Diner crowd although all welcome. My citrus trees are loaded and anybody wanting yellow grapefruit, oranges or lemons speak up. I will bring a bunch to the 5 N Diner this Tuesday so bring a bag or whatever so you can take some home. The oranges are small with a lot of seeds but they are great for juice.

Would you be willing to juice the oranges and bring me just the juice?
If so, I will take 3 to 5 gallons.
Thanks.

Not really...
Just he wants you to all the work and he reaps the rewards.
But, what would you expect from a ROOKIE, Lost boy, oil boy, gambling boy...
I hear he likes the wacko neighbor.
Save some of them for shootin. I'll have the Ruger back to you tomorrow night.

Damn.
Guess if you don't travel 200 miles across town in commute traffic to eat with youse guys then you lose out on getting free citrus.
Congrats Rookie

Dave,
I'll save some for ya, I mean as a reward for driving 200 miles across town anyway. Besides you can have Rat Boys oranges.

Well Dan, been a little busy but anything to make ya happy. I did need to enlist some help to get your juicing taken care of though. I'll check with my helpers to see if they are done. Bet you know which helper volunteered to help you. No good deed goes unpunished around this group !!
Dave, Your bag is ready for pick up now or later works too.

I was working at Intel in Chandler during the winter of 95/96 and staying with some relatives while we waited for our house to sell. I helped my uncle trim his citrus - lemon and grapefruit - as the branches were close to the ground. We trimmed the branches off and I pulled three boxes of lemons off and took them to work. I asked Security if I could bring them in and put a "Free" sign on the boxes. I went down about 10:00 and he said they were all gone about 9:00. That was about 80 lbs of lemons...
Also, that was after we'd squeezed about 4 gallons of fresh lemon/grapefruit juice and put them in milk jugs in the freezer. That was another 100lbs of raw lemons and grapefruits.
Tree ripened grapefruit is the best!!!
