I did some serious carb work today and she is doing pretty well.
I changed the power valve from a 6.5 to a 5.5 as my vacuum at idle is 12.
It no longer falls on it's face when I push in the clutch or hit neutral.
I also reduce the volume of vacuum to the PVC as it was acting as a huge vacuum leak and making my idle go crazy.
OK, so maybe it wasn't serious carb work but I got it done.
Dan

Don't through the old power valve away. That power valve usually doesn't effect the idle.

That vacuum will increase once the motor is broken in.

Be carefull plugging the pvc. You could get increased crankcase pressure and push oil out of the seals.
