So what is the consensus? Do we go Saturday or Sunday or both days?

I decided to play hooky Saturday, so my vote is the dryer of the two days.

Saturday look like the drier of the two days. How about the same station at 10:15 for a 10:30 departure, weather permitting? Does that work for everyone?

We play at Briarwood country club in Sun City West, but we live in Sun City Festival, the course here is Copper Canyon. We do not play here because they raised the cost to high and we got more bang for the money at Briarwood.

So, in conclusion, 10:30 on sat at the normal spot? Will be there. Weather looks pretty good for a change.

What is the distance between gas stations and what route do you take from the Circle K? the Beeline or South on Highway 87 back to the US 60?

Ron, If you can make it for 135 miles you'll be OK. We go out BLine to Jakes Corner then turn back to Punkin Center. From there we continue along the west side of the lake to Globe then back on the 60 to civilization. You can put on fuel in Punkin Center if necessary. We might all point and stare, but you can do it.

I will probably need to. I have some question on my fuel pickup as well as the fuel gauge not being accurate. Under a half tank and it seems starved for feul under acceleration. According to Charlie the fuel pickup for the csx is in a bad spot compared to the SPF and other replicas that can make it fuel starved if I am under about a 1/3. I would rather be safe than sorry. At 5-8 mpg I can get about 100 miles out of a tank

Bob B, Its a sorry state of affairs when a guy carries around a picture of a gas station.

Sorry guys. I found a big puddle beneath my radiator today. Not from overflow tank. Not from catch tank. Contacting Jeff for best fix.

Karl,
Cut me some slack in that I havent even been able to drive it that far at one time without something breaking!!
Seriously, it has had as many test miles put on by the shops that have worked it than I have put on it(I added it up yesterday) Out of the 765 miles on the car now, it has had 375 test miles put on over the last 18 months and I have driven it just under 400.
