i thought the SPF only have a 16 gal tank?? What motor do you have that can get 20 mpg? I cant picture mine getting over 10 which would still only give me about 200 miles. Sandy, How far have you gotten on a tank since you have the smae motor?

Ron,
Mikies car is a Factory Five and has a 302 small block.
Us small block guys get pretty good MPG.

Ron,
On the road my little 302 with 3:27 gears and 5 speed gets 23 to 25 MPG. It may not be real fast, but it keeps on going and going and going...

Size really doesn't matter, as long as it's OK with her! I'll always remember the one who told me that she'd rather be tickled to death, than stabbed to death! (True story) (And a lovely girl she was! REALLY!)

I was slowly but surely feeling my way up on range. I was up to being willing to go 120 miles (and increasing) before they pulled the motor. The worst I got was a little over 6 mpg stomping on it all the time around town and the best was 16 mpg on a long steady 85mph freeway run.
Ron, I sent you a PM

Well it was good meeting some of you and finally getting able to get my car back out on the road. Put a little over 225 miles by the time I got back home today. Beautiful weather and good company but next time I need to find a hat or put on some sunscreen as I got burnt.

Heck, John, if you hit rain, you were driving too slow!
Here are a couple of pictures of a happy group last Saturday:

Jeez Mike , I'd hoped no one would notice. But also note how close Marti is to Skully and Sally is to Chuck!

You guys were like 5 minutes from the boat. You could have @least gone over & washed it for me.

You don't pay enough to wash boats.
