I've had great luck with a 160 T'stat, here in God's country. I always thought that if the water started circulating at a lower temperature, that was just that much less heat to overcome. Praise the Lord, and Pass the Ammunition that I no longer live where I have to be concerned with getting my coolant hot to enable a heater to keep my tootsies warm. Had 'way more than enough of that during my first 30 years in Ohio.
