Sorry Mike, I've got a car show in the morning and a party in the afternoon. I'll miss being there.

Mike...I'll meet y'al at the gas station at 0900 hrs....By the way I now have a cracked windscreen! It has to do with replacing a screw in the sun visor attachment bracket!!!!
I have insurance but who can do the work?, where is the windshield available locally? and can I get by with just the glass or do I need the whole assembly?

Anybody who can offer suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks guys.

Well, I was scheduled to work Saturday but....I just found out a replacement took the shift (no easy task). So I will be at the Chevron Gathering Place by 8:30am at Carefree Hwy and Cave Creek Road for a 9am departure to Rattlesnake Cove at Bartlett Lake.
We will miss Dan.

China,

Rattlesnake Cove at Bartlett Lake.

There is a meeting and caravan spot. It is the Chevron station on the corner of Carefree Highway and Cavecreek rd. They will leave there at 9am on Saturday. Bring what you want to eat, we will have a grill or 2 going.

Bob, that's great news. I should have my new toy on Friday.

Mike

Bill,

Call Hot Rods by Dean, 623-581-1932. Charlie Sullens is up there and does excellent work on Cobras. He really knows 'em inside and out.

I'm on windshield #3, #1 had some cracks finally took a rock in my line of sight, that windshield had about 49,000 miles. #2 lasted about 6,000 miles it took a truck tire tread at about 90mph. #3 crack 15min after I got it in, SCREW for the sun visor or actually I was trying to clear out the threads. I was not happy. I called Factory Five after about 15 more minutes and order #4, it is in the box still. I figure I'll wait till I get some use out it or get pulled over for it, so far I've gone about 18 months. Factory Five seel the glass for around $300, the complete assembly is around 700. Windshield #2 I got the glass only and had Bell GLass change the windshield.

Is anybody who lives in the Gilbert, South Mesa, or Tempe area going to the picnic? I can't be there and would like somebody to get my sweatshirts from Mike. I'll arrange to swing by your house later in the week to pick them up.
